Doesn't sound like an even match, does it?

Eminem took umbrage with Mariah Carey apparently dissing him in her track, "Obsessed".

It's also the only R'n'B song I'm aware of (can't say I'm intimately familiar with the genre) that includes references to blogs.

Here's a snippet from her song:

Does it refer to him? Who knows.

But it prompted him launch a freestyle rap against her:

It contains subtle lines like this:

What was Mariah Carey's husband, Nick Cannon's, response to to Eminem's churlish attitude towards his wife?

The same article also includes her response to the allegation that she dissed Eminem in her music video clip:

Mariah has previously insisted she is not mocking Eminem in her Obsessed promo, saying: "Everybody started having their own speculations about who the stalker in the video was. When I look at that stalker and me with the beard, I look like my brother and my cousin Chris. So basically, you know, all the speculation about who I'm playing in the video, it's not accurate."

Question is, did Eminem get all worked up over nothing...or did his shot hit home and thus encourage her to "shut the fuck up"?
